The Only Probiotic Your Dog Needs

Your dog can’t tell you if they aren’t feeling well but their body may be giving you clues that something is wrong. Gas, bloating, diarrhea, and bad breath are some of the issues that can arise. But having the right probiotic can restore gut health and create a healthy biome.

The Only Probiotic Your Dog Needs

What are probiotics

Good and bad bacteria are always present in the body. But when more bad bacteria (pathogens) are present, infections can arise. Adding good bacteria, through the use of probiotics, can help to restore balance by lowering pathogens.

Probiotics are a mixture of healthy bacteria and yeasts that live in your body. And probiotics help our bodies in several processes, such as:

  • Aid in digestion
  • Create vitamins
  • Keep bad bacteria levels low to prevent illness
  • Help to remove toxins
  • Support healthy gut lining
  • Reduce inflammation
  • Support immune system

Why would my dog need a probiotic

Like humans, dogs can have lifestyles that don’t support healthy gut health.

Poor diets can be deficient in nutrients to support healthy gut bacteria growth.

Antibiotics can deplete healthy bacteria in the gut and create imbalance.

Lack of exercise can create a sluggish gut, making it easier for bad bacteria to thrive.

Stress can lower healthy bacteria, making it easier for toxins to enter the body. This can cause infections and chronic inflammation.

Signs that your dog may need a probiotic

Let’s be honest. Your dog can’t tell you that their gut isn’t happy. But we can look for signs of a gut imbalance, such as:

  • Gas and bloating
  • Diarrhea
  • Bad breath
  • Low energy
  • Itchy skin
  • Unusual weight gain/loss
  • Dull or splotchy fur
  • Joint issues
  • Fearful or aggressive behavior
  • Eating problems

Why use Just Pets Probiotic

This probiotic is the latest in dog health, and it’s a game-changer!

Unlike other probiotics on the market, it’s uses a proprietary blend of the following:

  • Bacillus Licheniformis (SL-307)

This strand helps to strengthen the immune system. It makes powerful enzymes, which supports digestion. It also helps to produce B vitamins in the gut, which supports healthy skin and fur.

  • Bacillus Subtilis (HU58)

This strain produces 12 protective defenders that support diversity of the gut biome.

  • Pediococcus Acidilactici

This strain helps to reverse GI issues and bad breath.

How to take Just Pets Probiotic

Since this is a powerful probiotic, it’s best to start slow when introducing it to your pet.

Give 1 capsule every other day for the first week, then increase to 1 capsule daily.

Capsules can be opened and sprinkled onto your dog’s food, preferably given with the largest meal of the day.

And for sensitive dogs with a complicated health history, a smaller dose can be given. Give ½ capsule every other day for a few weeks. Then increase to ½ capsule daily for another few weeks. Keep increasing the dose every few weeks until 1 capsule daily.

Stop the probiotic if your dog experiences any of the following:

  • Skin irritations
  • Diarrhea
  • Changes in behavior

Once the issue has cleared, then resume the probiotic at a smaller dose. Slowly increase the dose every few weeks until giving 1 capsule daily.

Our Experience

After using Just Pets Probiotic, we have noticed a huge, beneficial change!

We started off very slowly by giving ½ capsule daily.

Within 1 week, my dog’s poops were firm and consistent.

After 2-3 weeks, my dog, Phoenix, started getting crusty hot spots all over his lower back and back legs. My dog was experiencing “die-off” of the bad bacteria in his system. As the biome tries to rebalance, one way of detoxing is through the skin. Even though unpleasant, it is a good sign that the probiotic is working.

Phoenix stopped Just Pets until his hot spots resolved (about 1 week). When restarting Just Pets, he restarted at a lower dose and is doing well.

After 5 weeks, my dogs have soft, shiny fur. Both dogs are continuing to experience more consistent, firm poops.

And if they are doing so well after 5 weeks of Just Pets, I can’t wait to see their health improvement after 3 months. (We’ll keep you posted on our progress)

When it comes to health, it starts from the inside. Despite our best attempts, if our dog’s gut isn’t healthy, it can create many other health issues. If your dog has been struggling with chronic health issues, Just Pets Probiotic can help.

When starting Just Pets, it’s best to try for 3 months to give the body adequate time to respond. Because there are no quick-fixes when it comes to good health.
